QUESTION AND ANSWER 002 – PR 8552819

Location of Phase I and II Solar Arrays
I’ve attached below a Google Satellite image highlighting what appears to be several different solar arrays. We need to know the location of Phase I and Phase II. A site plan/layout would be great if you have one available.
The arrays on Utility building 1 Utility building 2 and the Chancery building make up the phase 1 while the arrays on the PKG building make up the phase 2 (Please see attached layout).
Any information on the electrical design that you can provide would be a tremendous help – e.g., point of interconnection, location and size of existing conduit, wire type of the output circuits for the inverters that will be replaced, etc. A one line diagram of the system would also be helpful. (See line diagram of Phase 2 attached)
The point of interconnection is on the Isolation transformers at the first floor of the PKG building location and size of existing conduit, existing conduit are ¾ “ 1” and 2’”depending on the number of wires drawn in.

What are the make/model of the solar modules? This is important for sizing and qty of replacement inverters. Phase 1 Solar modules
464 units of combined SunPower 210W and 220W PV modules and 7 units of 13KW Solectria PVI inverters on Phase 1.
There are 1,155 units of Suniva 255W modules on Parking garage roof and 20 units of 15KW SMA- Solar Technology Inverters in PKG Electrical rooms.on Phase 2.

How many PV panels are there in a string.
There are 15 panels per strings
5
How many strings are wired per inverter?
There are 4 strings per inverter
6
What is the specification of the Sunny Tripower inverter
Sunny Tripower STP 15000TL-10 (see attached picture)
7
How many extra ports are on the Synology server?
Two
8
Are there fiber optic cable runs for monitoring the inverters?
There is no fiber optic cable runs between the inverters. Data acquisition on the inverter is by means of CAT 6 cables.

We also were made aware of an addendum that was added to the RFP concerning a site visit for survey purposes. We did not see this addendum till after the visit. I was hoping to get the sign-in sheet of the attendees and hoping that bidder questions would be answered along with other questions/clarifications with corresponding answers would appear on the FEDBIZOPPS.gov web site.
With all the confusion surrounding the RFP has the option of an extension come up? If not I would like to request one.
Questions raised during the site visit have answers in this Q&A
