1.) Since there is no start date listed in the SOW, what numbers (volume of deliveries) should we use to arrive at our bid for the remainder of this fiscal year? It is difficult to quote a price when we are not sure how many days we will be performing the service.
ANSWER: Quoted price for the base year should be based on a monthly bases excluding weekends and holidays. For option years the quoted price should be based on a monthly bases excluding weekends and holidays. NOTE: If quotes have already been submitted based on a yearly bases and you do not wish to change your quote that is not an issue. The quoted price will simply be divided by the number of months remaining in the fiscal year for the base year, and option years will be divided by 12 to determine the monthly cost.
2.) Regarding the TWICK card....am I correct in assuming that upon award, we would be given a temporary pass to perform service until we have received our TWICK card?
ANSWER: At this time it should be assumed that No temporary pass will be issued for location 3. Service cannot begin until a TWIC card is obtained.
NOTE: Quoted prices shall be all inclusive.
