About this file
This is a solicitation document for the supply of light fittings for a U.S. Embassy chancery compound. The Department of State, through the American Embassy in Colombo, is seeking proposals for five line items of lighting fixtures with specified catalog numbers and quantities totaling approximately 105 units. The required items include ECOARK pole-mounted lights (10 units), ITALO model fixtures (10 units), L-series LED lights (7 units), additional L-series fixtures (70 units), and SYP610 floodlights (15 units).
Proposals must be submitted by email to Danielsg@state.gov no later than June 17, 2026 at 17:00 local time. Pricing should be provided duty-free and VAT-exempt, with delivery required within 30 days and payment expected within 3-4 weeks following delivery to the address in NJ 08902. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract based on the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer without discussions, though discussions may occur with companies in the competitive range if necessary. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to proposal submission, with failure to register potentially resulting in non-responsibility determination. Offerors must also comply with National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) requirements.
