N42 Multimedia Department Statement of Work Glass Wall Removal and Disposal

1.0 SCOPE

1.1 (U) This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the scope of work required for the take down and disposal of an existing glass screen wall located in the command auditorium Natinal Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC). It includes the take down, removal and disposal.

2.0 BACKGROUND

2.1 (U) The Multimedia Department provides effective and timely dissemination of intelligence products to the United States Navy, Congress, the Pentagon, and the Intelligence Community. The multimedia audio-visual services and product production supports the Director of Naval Intelligence, ONI, Department of Defense (DoD) Intelligence Commands, and other command elements of the NMIC. To uphold mission integrity. The equipment utilized to support these functions must be operationally ready with minimal downtime.

3.0 REQUIREMENT

3.0.1 The Contractor shall provide services for the safe removal and disposal of a glass wall measuring 9 feet 2 inches high X 18 feet 2 inches wide and ¾ inch thick. The glass wall is located in the command auditorium.

3.1 ADMINISTRATIVE and TECHNICAL SUPPORT

3.1.1 The contractor shall provide proposal and removal plan to designated government technical representative for safely glass pieces from the building within 10 days of receiving award.

3.1.2 The contractor shall provide plywood covering, and any other required shielding and physical protection to prevent damage the to auditorium stage and surrounding areas prior to taking down the glass screen. The contractor shall also provide rolling bins to remove the glass pieces from the auditorium and building.

3.1.3 The contractor shall thoroughly clean up any and all glass shards, and particulate matter resulting from the glass removal process

4.0 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT

No government furnished equipment shall support this effort.

5.0 DELIVERABLES

All Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) deliverables required under this SOW are listed below. All deliverables shall meet approved requirements, comply with Section 6.0 of this SOW and shall be delivered as a Microsoft Office document to the N42 point of contact.

6.0 QUALITY ASSURANCES

6.1.1 The contractor shall ensure quality results by maintaining telephone or email communication with the N42 point of contact. Communication shall be conducted every other week or as required beginning with the first Tuesday after award.

7.0 TRAVEL

No travel is anticipated in support of this SOW.

8.0 LOCATION

8.1.1 The requirement delineated in this SOW shall be rendered by the contractor to the Office of Naval Intelligence, Suitland, Maryland.

9.0 TRAINING

There is no training associated with this SOW.

10.0 SECURITY

10.1 Inspections: All items being carried into and out of the government facility are subject to physical inspection by Government Security Protective Officers.

10.2 Escorting will be provided by ONI personnel for onsite visits. At a minimum, contractor shall provide SSN, driver’s license and vehicle insurance information, VIN number and tag information upon request. Escorting is not required for this contract, however delivery personnel will require screening before delivery.

10.3 No equipment parts of any kind shall be removed once installed/setup in the government facility. IT type electronics hard drives, circuit boards and memory boards upon delivery are government owned property and will be disposed of by government personnel after being used and/or replaced.

10.4 Prohibitive Items: The following items are prohibitive and shall not be brought into the government facility. Prohibitive items are subject to permanent confiscation. This list is subject to change and the contractor shall make inquiries with the government point of contact of possible changes prior to entering the government facility.

· Laptops

· Ammunition

· MP-3 Players

· Alcohol

· PDAs w/audio or video record capability

· Illegal or Controlled Substances (other than prescription medicine)

· PEDs w/audio or video record capability

· Personal two-way pager

· Explosive or Combustible Materials

· Cameras or Recording Equipment (audio, video, photographic, magnetic, optical, etc)

· Corrosive Chemicals

· Chemical or Biological Materials

· Cellular Telephones

· CD or DVD

· USB, Micro Drive or Thumb Drives

If items from the prohibitive list are required to perform any of the duties during the contract phase, the contractor shall make the government aware prior to contract award. CD, DVD’s and other types of electronic servicing media used by the installation technician are subject to government Systems Security evaluations and guidelines prior to introduction into the government facility. After use, these materials become the property of the Government of the government and cannot be removed from the facility.
