About this file

This is a Notice of Intended Decision to Purchase Sole/Single Source Products and Services issued by the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners in Florida for the Parks & Recreation Department. The solicitation is for one PTO-60 Sports Turf Renovation Machine from Power Turf Renovation. The Power Turf Renovator is a multifunctional machine that aerates, de-thatches, and verticuts turf simultaneously while removing baseball lips, leveling playing surfaces to eliminate trip hazards, and promoting healthy turf growth and field playability while reducing labor hours. The notice was posted on April 15, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. with responses due by April 20, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. The contact for information is Heather Riley, Parks & Recreation Department, located at 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Building C, Room 303, Viera, Florida 32940, and she can be reached at 321-617-7390 or heather.riley@brevardfl.gov.

The county justifies this sole source acquisition based on the Power Turf Renovator being the only machine on the market featuring a fixed blade with a helix spiral design, making it uniquely suited for the county's turf renovation needs. The notice invites respondents who believe they can meet or exceed the stated requirements to provide convincing technical data supporting their capabilities. The county reserves the right to cancel this notice of intent and advertise a formal solicitation if respondents can supply substantially similar products or services. No pricing information, set-asides, funding sources, or contract term details are specified in this notice.
