About this file
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) Purchasing Department for the procurement of Time Timer Visual Timers for classroom use. FCPS seeks to purchase 1,000 units of the Time Timer Original 12-inch, large 60-minute visual timers, which feature a black body with red disk and include access to the Time Timer App and a Dry Erase Activity Card. The timers must be delivered to the LaFayette Educational Center, Building D, 205 LaFayette Avenue, Fayetteville, GA 30214, for subsequent distribution to FCPS schools. The RFQ was issued on Thursday, July 23, 2026, with written questions due before 9:00 a.m. (ET) on Monday, July 27, 2026, and responses due before 9:00 a.m. (ET) on Friday, July 31, 2026. No bidders' conferences or site visits are specified in the solicitation. The resulting contract will commence on the award date and terminate on December 31, 2026, with automatic renewal options for up to four additional one-year terms at the awarded pricing unless a price change process is initiated.
FCPS will evaluate quotes based on multiple criteria beyond price alone, including cost, warranty and service guarantees, past performance, total cost of ownership, delivery schedules, shipping methods, and manufacturer quality standards. Delivery must occur during standard business hours (7:30 AM to 3:30 PM EST, Monday through Friday, except school holidays) with 24-hour advance notice to the end-user. Freight terms are Free on Board (FOB) destination with freight prepaid, and vendors must use either tailgate delivery or inside delivery methods as FCPS locations lack loading docks. Vendors must hold prices firm for the entire solicitation term or until December 31, 2026, and may only increase prices by a maximum of 10% per single change with at least 30 days' written notice and documented proof of cost increases. FCPS reserves the right to reject any proposed price increase and terminate the contract immediately without penalty. The solicitation indicates FCPS intends to place additional orders beyond the initial 1,000 units over the term of the resulting agreement and is subject to funding cancellation provisions if the Fayette County Board of Education does not appropriate funds for any fiscal year.
