PREFABRICATED BUILDING REQUIREMENTS

INTENDED USE

The Wisconsin Air National Guard (WI ANG) requires a portable building at the Hardwood Bombing range to effectively, efficiently, and safely control military aircraft operating on the bombing range. The building will be placed on a pad and will have access to electrical power and communications fiber.

STRUCTURAL REQUIREMENTS

1. 36 ft. Long x 14 ft. Wide (504 sq. ft.)

2. Must be sided with steel siding on all sides & roof

a. Color: Alternating red & white (IAW AFMAN 13-212,4.17 Range Safety)

3. Roof must over hang 12 inches on all sides

a. Metal soffits

4. Building will be divided into two rooms

a. Main room is to be 24 ft. x 14 ft.

b. Secondary room is to be 12 ft. x 14 ft.

c. Interior dividing wall must be built with 2 x 6 inch boards & insulated for sound proofing

i. Wall must go from floor to ceiling

ii. Interior wall must have a solid core door dividing the two rooms

5. All exterior and interior walls will be insulated to the standard commercial code.

6. Exterior door must be steel and painted to match color pattern of exterior

a. Door must open into the room

7. Two exterior LED lights

8. Three interior ceiling fans with lights

a. Two located in main area of building

b. One located in smaller area of building

i. All fans must be large enough to adequately distribute air in room

9. Countertops located in control room

a. Formica countertops

i. Standard commercial height

10. Interior walls & ceiling are to be finished with wood tongue and groove car siding

11. Interior Floors are to be covered in prefinished tongue and groove wood

a. Floor must be insulated

12. 8 dual pane windows, minimum of 36 inches High x 30 inches wide

a. White adjustable minim vinyl mini blinds on all windows

13. Four (4) Skylights in roof

a. 22 ½ in. x 46 ½ in. Fixed self-flashed skylight with tempered Low-E3 Glass and Classica sand manual light filtering blind or equivalent.

14. One (1) Vinyl patio door in exterior of Control Room

a. Interior shades

b. Standard 72” X 80” in dimension

15. Building requires 200 amp breaker panel

a. Building will use standard lights and electrical outlets

16. Wall mounted Air Conditioning & Heating unit is required for each room

a. Separate PTAC type units

17. Building must be mounted on 4 x 4 x 6 skids

a. Treated or composite material

18. Must allow for antenna cables to be run inside from exterior

19. Building is to be electrically wired IAW commercial standards

COMMUNICATIONS FIBER/ HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

1. CAT6 Cable runs from the cabinet to each Communication outlet

a. Communication cabinet will be located under countertop

b. Two (2) per outlet in Break Room

c. Four (4) per outlet in Control Room

d. Cables should terminate on a 24 port patch panel

e. Jacks

g. Patch Panel

i. Panduit CAT6 24 Port Part# DP24688TGY
