The solicitation seeks replacement of end-of-life Cisco networking equipment, including Nexus 9300 network switches (8 units), Cisco IW9167 wireless access points (10 units), Aruba 9176 access points (30 units), Catalyst 9300 network switches in both 24-port and 48-port configurations (6 units each), and associated networking components such as power adapters, mounting brackets, and transceivers. The quantities range from 2 to 30 units across various line items, with a delivery due date of October 16, 2026. The PORFP was issued on July 28, 2026, with proposals due by August 18, 2026 at 2:00 PM EDT, and a questions deadline of August 11, 2026 at 5:00 PM EDT. This solicitation is limited to Master Contractors currently awarded under the referenced statewide contract.
The procurement is fixed-price, with bidders required to provide list prices, unit costs, and manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRP). Bidders must submit password-protected proposals via email to MTAPurchasing@MTA.Maryland.gov, with passwords sent separately to the Agency Point of Contact, Stephanie Harrison, within two hours prior to bid opening. Special requirements include providing estimated ship dates and lead times, maintaining pricing validity for 90 days post-due date, demonstrating authorized reseller status for Cisco, and including manufacturer's support agreements and licensing. The solicitation also includes warranty and support services (FA V) with multiple line items for Cisco support contracts, networking subscriptions, and wireless licenses spanning various terms from three to five years. No small business reserve or minority business enterprise goals are designated for this procurement. The MTA reserves the right to purchase quantities exceeding or falling short of those specified, subject to available funding.
