About this file
This document is a Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) issued by the Maryland Insurance Administration (MIA) for a Hardware Master Contract. The PORFP is seeking proposals for network communication equipment, installation and training services, and manufacturer's extended warranty under the state's Hardware and Associated Equipment and Services 2012 Master Contract. The PORFP includes functional areas such as network communication equipment, installation/training, and security/cameras. Proposals are due by September 6, 2023 at 12:00 AM EST. The selected vendor must be an authorized reseller for the designated manufacturer, Cisco, and provide a Letter of Authorization and MSRP screenshot with the bid. The contract term is for 1 year.
The pricing proposal must show each line item priced individually, and the MBE participation goal for the installation/training services is 25%. The award will be made to the most advantageous proposal based on price and conformance with the technical requirements. The MIA is seeking to replace their end-of-life enterprise network switches to ensure critical VPN, VoIP, and network services for the agency.
