About this file

The document explains that the General Application Instructions (GAI) are designed to be used alongside program announcements issued by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) to provide comprehensive guidance for preparing and submitting grant applications. The program announcement itself contains basic information about what applicants must submit, while the GAI provides detailed instructions on how to prepare and submit applications. Applicants must ensure that the version of the GAI they reference matches the version number specified on the front page of the corresponding program announcement to maintain accurate alignment between the two documents.
