About this file

This document is an introductory guide for CDMRP funding opportunity applications. The General Application Instructions (GAI) are designed to be read in conjunction with program announcements for funding opportunities offered by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP). The program announcement provides basic information about what to submit in an application, while the GAI provides additional details and instructions on how to submit the application.

Applicants must ensure that the version of the GAI they use matches the version specified on the front page of the program announcement. The GAI can be accessed through hyperlinks provided in the program announcement. This document serves as a foundational reference tool rather than standalone guidance, requiring cross-reference with specific program announcements for complete application preparation information.
