The GAI serves as a supplementary guide that provides detailed procedures for preparing and submitting applications, while the program announcement itself contains the basic information about what must be submitted.
The document emphasizes the importance of version alignment between documents, instructing applicants to ensure that the version number appearing on the cover page of the GAI matches the version specified on the front page of the corresponding program announcement. Applicants are directed to access the GAI through hyperlinks provided in the program announcement to facilitate accurate referencing and proper application preparation and submission procedures.
