About this file

This document is an introductory instructional guide for CDMRP funding opportunity applications. The Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) has developed General Application Instructions (GAI) designed to be read alongside specific program announcements for individual funding opportunities. The GAI serves as a supplementary resource that provides detailed guidance on application preparation and submission procedures, while the program announcement itself contains baseline information about what applicants must submit.

Applicants must ensure version alignment between the GAI and the program announcement by verifying that the GAI version listed on its cover page matches the version specified on the front page of the program announcement. The document directs users to access the complete General Application Instructions through hyperlinks provided within the relevant program announcement. This document is primarily a cover page and reference guide rather than substantive application content, serving to direct applicants to the appropriate paired documents for their specific funding opportunity.
