About this file

This document is an instructional guide for applicants seeking funding through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP). The General Application Instructions (GAI) are designed to be used in conjunction with specific program announcements and provide supplementary details on how to prepare and submit grant applications. While program announcements outline what applicants must submit, the GAI furnishes comprehensive procedural guidance on submission requirements and preparation protocols.

Applicants must ensure version alignment between the GAI and the program announcement for accurate compliance. The document directs users to access the GAI through hyperlinks provided in the relevant program announcement to maintain consistency with current requirements. This instructional framework establishes the foundational relationship between programmatic requirements and application procedures for CDMRP funding opportunities.
