About this file
This document is an instructional guide for preparing applications to the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) funding opportunities. The General Application Instructions (GAI) are designed to be used in conjunction with program announcements and provide supplementary details on application preparation and submission procedures. The GAI specifies "how to submit" applications, while the program announcement specifies "what to submit." Users must ensure that the version of the GAI they reference matches the version cited on the front page of the corresponding program announcement to maintain accuracy and compliance.
The document emphasizes the importance of accessing the GAI through hyperlinks provided in the program announcement rather than obtaining it independently. This ensures applicants have the correct version and complete instructions for their specific funding opportunity.
