About this file
This document is a Base Access Request (BAR) form for a pre-solicitation site visit for a Design-Build (DB) construction project to provide a military-type barracks for billeting sixty personnel in Barangay Tagusao, Quezon, Palawan, Philippines. The project is anticipated to have a value between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 and requires experience with similar construction projects in Southeast Asia, Nepal, Maldives, and Timor Leste. Interested contractors must submit the BAR form with personnel details by July 8, 2024, 11:00 am Thailand Time to the designated Site Access Coordinators. The form outlines instructions for providing personnel information, identification documents, and evidence of SAM registration. The pre-solicitation notice states that a solicitation will be issued by the Department of the Navy Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) around July 2024, and a pre-proposal site visit is tentatively scheduled in mid-July 2024, which contractors must request access to attend.
