About this file

This document is a Base Access Request (BAR) form and instructions for a federal contract opportunity at Basa Air Base in the Philippines. The government plans to issue a solicitation in July or August 2024 for a Design-Build (DB) project to construct a new Entry Control Point (ECP), Perimeter Wall, and Operation Area Roads at the base. The project is estimated to cost between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

Contractors interested in attending the pre-solicitation site visit must submit the BAR form with personnel information by July 1, 2024. Only two participants, one driver, and one vehicle per company will be allowed to attend. Contractors not included in the government's access request will not be permitted to participate in the site visit. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command is the federal agency managing this procurement. All information will be posted on SAM.gov, and the government will not respond to email inquiries regarding the site visit details.
