About this file
This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) for the trade-in and replacement of outboard motors on a 26' Lee Shore Swiftsure vessel. WDFW is seeking bids to remove and provide trade-in credit for two existing 150HP Honda outboards, and to provide and install two new 200HP Yamaha outboards, including all required parts and accessories. The required delivery and installation period is between August 3-7, 2020. Vendors must be an authorized Washington state licensed business and will be required to conduct sea trials prior to delivery. WDFW will deliver the vessel to vendors within a 60-mile radius of Port Townsend, Washington, with vendors outside this radius responsible for pickup and return.
The RFQ includes pricing sheets for the various outboard, propeller, and accessory components. Vendors must provide firm, fixed pricing and may include a prompt payment discount. WDFW will apply a 3% bid preference to vendors who certify they do not require employees to sign mandatory individual arbitration clauses or class/collective action waivers.
