PERSONAL PROPERTY ACTIVITY
1 SOLDIER WAY
SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, ILLINOIS 62225-5357
21 July 2026
SUBJECT: Personal Property Activity Industry Day Synopsis and Registration for Third Party Insurance and Claim Adjustment Services for Household Goods
1. Purpose.
The Personal Property Activity (PPA) is hosting an Industry Day on Thursday, 20 August 2026 to engage commercial partners offering specific capabilities in Third Party Insurance and Claim Adjustment Services for the packing, shipping, storage, and delivery of household goods.
The PPA is actively seeking to leverage lessons learned, industry best practices, and currently fielded, market-ready capabilities strictly from the insurance, banking, financial, and independent claim adjustment sectors. The PPA is exclusively interested in existing, operational, and near-operational solutions—such as novel settlement approaches, independent coverage models, and rapid claims adjudication processes—that are already in play in the commercial market or at a highly mature stage, rather than developmental concepts.
This event allows industry partners operating in this area to propose value proposition designs tailored to independent claim adjustment and third-party coverage for household goods by providing written responses, one-on-one meetings with the PPA, or both. The primary objectives of this event include:
Conducting market research on established commercial models for third-party insurance and independent claims adjustment.
Identifying operational and near-operational claims processing and insurance solutions ready for integration with government systems and processes.
Exploring highly efficient approaches to rapid claim adjudication, settlement, and liability coverage spanning the entire relocation lifecycle (packing, shipping, storage, and delivery).
Hosting interactive presentations via individual meetings with industry partners specializing in third-party insurance and claim adjustment services.
Gathering written capability responses detailing insurance and independent adjusting models.
2. Event Details.
The Industry Day consists of written responses, one-on-one meetings with the PPA, or both. Interested participants must register with the points of contact (POCs) according to the Registration Deadline and Instructions (see Section 3).
Written Responses: All registered participants are welcome to submit an overview of their capability and value proposition design focused on Third Party Insurance and Claim Adjustment Services for household goods packing, shipping, storage, and delivery (no more than 10 pages, 11-point font) to the Registration POCs. Any written responses must be provided no later than Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 4:00 PM CDT.
Demonstrations/Presentations: All registered participants may request the opportunity to demonstrate and/or present their third-party insurance and claim adjustment capability and value proposition design to the PPA.
