About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details a Video Teleconference (VTC) equipment upgrade project for the Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces at Eielson AFB and Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Alaska. The primary objectives include replacing 8 obsolete CISCO SX-80 CODECs with new CISCO WEBEX PRO CODECs, replacing 8 AMX Input/Output Switches with Extron switches, and adding Media Port 200 to SIPR and NIPR desktops in 8 VTC rooms to enable secure Microsoft Teams and Zoom application usage.
The project timeline indicates work will start tentatively on 30 September 2025 and must be completed by 31 March 2026. The scope involves upgrading equipment across multiple rooms, including MBR, JMBR, CCR, MPC1, MPC2, JMPC1, and JMPC2, with specific technical requirements such as programming Extron switches to control power between NIPR and SIPR systems, utilizing existing microphones, cameras, and other equipment where possible, and ensuring secure network connections through NIPRNet and SIPRNet Ethernet. The contractor will be responsible for installation, programming, testing, and providing critical spare parts, with all work to be performed at the two Alaska military facilities.
