About this file
This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for removal of furniture, furnishings, and garbage from OGC Suite 351, located at 101 South Main Street, Temple, Texas, 76501. The contractor must remove all items from approximately 8,000 square feet on the third floor of building 101 and complete the work by 30 September 2026. The scope includes a mandatory site visit within four days of contract award to establish a removal timeframe, followed by three to four days of actual removal work. The contractor is responsible for supplying all receptacles and manpower and must remove all garbage receptacles the same day the suite is emptied. The government will conduct a 100% verification walkthrough to confirm the suite is completely empty before the deliverable is considered complete.
The contractor must exercise caution during removal operations, with normal wear and tear acceptable but any damage beyond minor scratches and nicks subject to monetary deductions from the total contract cost. All travel costs for contractors commuting to the area must be included in a firm fixed price quote with no extraneous costs to the government. No security clearance is required, but contractor personnel must provide identification to obtain day passes from the government-supplied facility escort. The government will measure performance by verifying that all rooms are 100% empty of furniture, furnishings, and garbage, with a potential 1-10% deduction from total contract cost for each day exceeding the allotted timeframe. The contract involves no special security requirements, data rights, or Section 508 compliance obligations.
