About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) establishes requirements for providing FDA-approved radiopharmaceutical supplies and cold kits to the Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC) Nuclear Medicine Section at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia on an as-needed basis. The contractor must furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, and related services necessary for continuous provision and timely delivery of these materials, which have short half-lives and are critical to diagnostic and therapeutic patient care.
The contract period consists of one 12-month base year with four optional 12-month extension years. The contractor's customer service and delivery network must operate 24 hours per day, seven days per week, with standard government business hours from 07:00 to 16:00 Monday through Friday. Routine deliveries must arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to scheduled calibration time and within 24 hours of order acknowledgment, with an acceptable quality level of 98 percent compliance per month. Emergency orders require delivery within two hours of contractor acceptance, with 100 percent compliance required. Products must achieve zero deviation (100 percent accuracy) on product type, dosage, and FDA approval status. All transportation, packaging, labeling, and handling must comply with FDA, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and Department of Transportation regulations with zero safety violations. Estimated annual workload includes numerous radiopharmaceuticals and supplies such as Tc-99m preparations, iodine isotopes, gallium citrate, fluorodeoxyglucose, various syringe shields, vials, chromatography strips, and calibration sources. The contractor must submit a Quality Control Plan within 30 days of award and maintain a written Contingency Plan for alternative delivery methods in event of facility disruption. All work is unclassified, and the contractor must comply with HIPAA requirements and standard Defense Health Agency onboarding procedures, including contractor identification badges for on-site personnel.
