Performance Work Statement
The Children's Nutrition Research Center has a need for seven official-use government parking spaces at the Children's Nutrition Research Center Garage #9. Garage #9 is the parking garage located at the Children's Nutrition Research Center at 1100 Bates St. and serves individuals conducting business within the Center.
Because of the immediate proximity to the Center, it is necessary for this purchase order to be made as it directly serves the official business operations (visitors from other ARS sites, federal vehicle(s), federal guests, federal employees from multiple departments visiting for lincpass needs, etc.) of the center and this arrangement has been in place for an extended amount of time (Approved by Area Director Floyd Horn April 30, 1991).
The location desires a base service contract (1/1/2022 – 12/31/2022) for one year with the option to exercise four 1-year options beyond the base year. If options are exercised by the government, the total period of service contract would be five years.
The total cost for this order is $16,380.00 for 7 spaces for the CY 2022 based upon the established 2022 Texas Medical Center Pricing of $195.00 each. Pricing is issued on a calendar year basis.
All parking garages in the Texas Medical Center, where the Children's Nutrition Research Center resides, are managed and operated by the Texas Medical Center. Purchase of service from other than the Texas Medical Center may jeopardize the government official business performed at the Children's Nutrition Research Center due to a lace of accessibility.
