About this file

This document is a Performance Bond for a contract between the State of Maryland and a Principal. The contract is described as an Icebreaker/Buoy Tender Vessel for the Department of Natural Resources. The Performance Bond binds the Principal and Surety to ensure the Principal will well and truly perform the contract. The bond will remain in full force and effect during the original term of the contract, any contract extensions, and the guarantee and warranty period, if any. The Surety may elect to either remedy any default by the Principal or complete the contract in accordance with its terms and conditions. The bond cannot be affected by any changes, extensions, alterations, or additions to the contract.
