About this file
This document is a Faithful Performance Bond for the County of Orange, a political subdivision of the State of California. The bond is a standard legal instrument that guarantees a contractor will fulfill the obligations of a specific contract, with the surety company providing financial assurance to the county. The document outlines the conditions under which the bond will be valid, including the contractor's commitment to perform all contract terms, maintain required standards, and indemnify the county against potential losses or damages.
The bond includes provisions for covering costs and reasonable expenses incurred by the county in enforcing the contract, with the surety agreeing that changes to the contract terms will not affect the bond's obligations. The document provides specific instructions for corporate signatories, requiring either two corporate officers to sign or one officer with documented authority to bind the corporation. A notarized signature from the surety representative is mandatory, and the name of the surety company must be typed or stamped above the signature line.
