About this file
This document is a Product Description (PD) for a water filtration system issued by the 309th Expeditionary Maintenance Group (EMXG) at Hill Air Force Base. The system requirements specify a reverse osmosis with deionization technology, capable of processing 10-20 GPM of tap water with a conductivity less than 5 microseimens. The preferred solution is a skid-mounted, turnkey system with a 50-250 gallon reservoir, robust monitoring capabilities for water conductivity, and minimal maintenance requirements.
The solicitation (FA8228-25-Q-KADE) is a pre-solicitation opportunity from the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center. Delivery is specified to 309th EMXG/MXDSP at Hill AFB, Utah, with the contractor expected to provide standard commercial warranty. The system will be used with an industrial parts washer, and the government can provide necessary power, shop air, and has attached a water analysis for feed water specifications. The target delivery timeframe appears to be around June 2025, based on the document date.
