About this file
This document is a Specification Questionnaire for the Counter, Electronic: AN/USM-459B Replacement and a related federal contract opportunity.
The Specification Questionnaire requests information from vendors on their electronic counter products that could potentially replace the AN/USM-459B. It covers detailed technical requirements across various categories like general requirements, physical characteristics, power source, maintainability, calibration, reliability, environmental requirements, software/firmware, and operational requirements. Vendors are asked to indicate if their model meets or exceeds the government specifications, provide details on their model's specifications, and note the extent of modifications required.
The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation notice from the Army Contracting Command - Redstone, seeking sources for a new electronic counter to replace the AN/USM-459B. The anticipated procurement will result in a firm fixed price, multiple year, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract. Interested vendors are requested to submit company information and completed questionnaires by December 4, 2024. The information gathered will be used to finalize the purchase description before a formal solicitation is issued.

pg. 1
Instructions
Please fill out the table as indicated by the column headers.
Answer the questions based on your recommended Electronic Counter’s current capability. There is some flexibility in the Purchase Description at this point in time and your responses are used to finalize it. If your Electronic Counter does not meet a requirement, Product Director Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (PD TMDE) might be able to alter the requirement to meet your Electronic Counter’s capabilities, depending on all of the responses to this survey and Sustainment - Capabilities, Development and Integration Directorate approval.
