About this file
This document is a Questions & Answers (Q&A) file for the PCTE Cyber Range Development Software Application Project Request for Information (RFI). The Q&A addresses various industry inquiries about the government's requirements, including confirmation that they are seeking an out-of-the-box solution modifiable for the PCTE architecture. The government has not yet established a Period of Performance (PoP) or anticipated contract value, and the RFI aims to explore available solutions, capabilities, and best practices.
Key details include that PCTE already has an Authority to Operate (ATO), and new hardware or software will be added to the existing ATO. The government has previously awarded prototype agreements through Cyber Innovation Challenges related to Cyber Range Development Software, but there is currently no production system. Respondents are encouraged to provide information about both existing and potential future capabilities, with no page limit for responses. This is not a solicitation, so there will be no down-selection process, though the government may follow up for additional clarity or details.
