The file "Past Evaluations - Sierra Leone.zip" appears to be an evaluation document related to a previous McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program grant implementation in Sierra Leone. While the specific contents of the evaluation are not visible in the provided context, the related federal grant opportunity details reveal critical program information. The McGovern-Dole program, administered by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (CFDA 10.608), focuses on improving food security, reducing hunger, and enhancing primary education in low-income countries, with Sierra Leone identified as one of the priority countries for the current funding cycle.

The federal grant opportunity seeks cooperative agreement applications for school feeding programs, literacy initiatives, and maternal/child nutrition interventions, with a particular emphasis on supporting girls' education. The program typically awards grants ranging from $20-30 million over 3-5 year project periods, with applicants required to allocate approximately 10% of the total award for local commodity procurement and a minimum of 3% for monitoring and evaluation activities. For the current funding cycle, Sierra Leone has a specific identification number (USDA-FAS-10.608-0700-25-(636)), indicating it is a priority country for potential grant funding under this program.
