About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for the Call for Solution - Composite Print Capability solicitation issued by the Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal on behalf of the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM).
The document addresses technical specifications regarding facility electrical infrastructure requirements for the Advanced Manufacturing (AdvM) composite printer installation at Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD). Specifically, it clarifies that the Government Standard Utility (USG) can provide either 208V three-phase or 120V single-phase power within 25 feet of the equipment's installation location. Vendors are responsible for providing their own transformer if alternative voltages (such as 230V or 240V) are required. The Q&A document indicates that proposals must include all required ancillary equipment, including post-processing systems and facility transformers necessary for power requirements. The associated Call for Solution seeks innovative solutions for Advanced Manufacturing composite print capability to address critical readiness gaps in aviation maintenance operations and enable CCAD to rapidly fabricate qualified parts, tools, jigs, fixtures, and ground support equipment. The Phase 1 question submission deadline was June 24, 2026, at 12:00 PM Central Daylight Time.
