About this file
The document is a set of Questions and Answers (Q&A) for a federal contract opportunity for Pianist/Keyboard Musician Support Services for the Alcance Spanish Protestant Congregation at Fort Cavazos. The solicitation is for a non-personal service contract with a base year from 30 May 2025 to 29 May 2026 and four potential option years extending through 29 May 2030. Key details include requirements for a musician who can perform Alcance Spanish protestant style music, with the government providing musical instruments and equipment. The contract involves performing during worship services, with specific performance schedule details outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
The Q&A document clarifies several important aspects of the solicitation, including that this is a new requirement with no incumbent contractor, a background check will be managed by the contractor, Spanish fluency is not required but ability to perform specific music style is needed, and the anticipated start date is late May/early June. The evaluation process will take up to seven days after proposal submission, with proposals to be reviewed against technical requirements in the PWS. All contract-related information will be posted on SAM.gov, and potential offerors are directed to submit questions by 21 May 2025 at 11:30 AM Central Time to the specified Contract Specialist.
