About this file

This document consists of a hazardous spill plan and related federal contract opportunity. The hazardous spill plan provides immediate response procedures for spills of hazardous substances at US Army Garrison Wiesbaden installations in Germany. It outlines steps to stop the spill source, control and contain the spill, and requirements to report spills that pose safety or environmental risks. Emergency contacts are provided for on-post and off-post spills.

The federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation notice seeking vintage aircraft and flight program for the Berlin Airlift 75th anniversary event at Lucius D. Clay Kaserne from June 15-17, 2024. A minimum of eight aircraft are required for static display, including at least six C-47/DC-3 aircraft from the Berlin Airlift era. Additional World War 2 aircraft can be displayed. The flight program requires seven to ten C-47/DC-3 aircraft to perform a parachute jump, formation demonstrations, and a simulated airdrop. All period aircraft must be authentic to those used in World War 2 and the Berlin Airlift. The anticipated attendance is 50,000 guests over the three-day event. Questions for the solicitation must be submitted by March 20, 2024.
