About this file
This document is an AFMC Form 158 establishing packaging requirements for federal contract FD20302501609-00 (Version 1), effective as of February 27, 2026. The document specifies packaging standards applicable to multiple line items across two primary packaging requirement categories (PACRN AAE and AAH) and defines compliance obligations for vendors supplying items to the U.S. military.
All wooden lumber, pallets, and containers must be constructed from debarked wood and heat-treated to 56 degrees Centigrade (133 degrees Fahrenheit) for a minimum of 30 minutes, with certification/marking required by an accredited agency recognized by the American Lumber Standards Committee (ALSC). This requirement addresses United Nations-implemented restrictions on wood packaging material (WPM) to prevent invasive species such as the pinewood nematode. Items must be packaged in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1 (Standard Practice for Military Packaging) and marked per MIL-STD-129 (Standard Practice for Military Marking), both Revision R/E. Shipping containers require marking that includes unit serial numbers, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) names, and OEM model numbers as specified on the AFMC Form 158. The document covers items including National Stock Numbers (NSNs) such as 6610013847512FW and multiple CPH, DTH, and OAH series items. One supplemental requirement identifies certain items as hardness-critical items requiring additional markings. The packaging specialist responsible for these requirements is Richard R. Davis (406 SCMS/GULAA, contact: 405-371-9037 or 582-5972), with signature authorization dated February 24, 2026.
