About this file

This is an addendum to a biogas testing contract opportunity issued by Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources in Georgia. Addendum #2, dated March 13, 2023, revises the submission deadline for PA014-23, Provision of Biogas Testing on an Annual Contract from March 14, 2023 to March 16, 2023 at 3:00 PM. The contract requires vendors to provide sample collection bottles, shipping materials, analytical services, and related supplies for the analysis of biogas samples. County staff will collect gas samples in vendor-provided containers, package them in vendor-supplied shipping materials, and arrange delivery to the vendor's laboratory facility. Additionally, the addendum corrects a reference in Table 2 regarding Bio-Gas Compounds Standard Methods, changing ASTM D6968 to ASTM D6228.

The addendum addresses industry concerns regarding sample collection methodology by clarifying that while Tedlar bags remain the minimum requirement for sample collection, Gwinnett County will also accept passivated high-pressure cylinders with inert coating as an alternative. All bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by inserting its number and date in the bid form, with failure to do so potentially resulting in disqualification. The addendum forms part of the contract documents and is binding on all parties.
