# Contractor Questions & Answers

1 CONTRACTOR

QUESTION:

Audio production is part of the scope to be produced by the vendor. Does the park/NPS want the production to include music and sound effects or should the soundtracks be narration only?

GOVERNMENT

REPLY:

The soundtracks are to be narration only, with perhaps the exception of some sort of indication that the slideshow is advancing to the next image. The indication may be a more "musical" tone or chime, or may be a verbal cue.

The transition indicator should be appropriate for a program designed for a person with low vision.

2 CONTRACTOR

QUESTION:

In the RFP it states that two self-advancing slideshows of 20 images each will be produced. With 60 POI there will be 20 images that aren't included.

Will the NPS/park staff oversee which images are included into the slideshows or will the vendor decide this?

GOVERNMENT

REPLY:

All 60 images will be described. Only 40 of the images will be included in two separate slideshows. The park will determine which images are to be included.

3 CONTRACTOR

QUESTION:

Does the NPS envision the slideshow use the individual audio tour audio tracks as its soundtrack?

GOVERNMENT

REPLY:

The slideshow will include the compilation of audio described images as its soundtrack.
