Who can participate in this procurement?
This procurement is set-aside for small business concerns in accordance with FAR Part 19.5.
The NAICS code is 337110, Wood Kitchen Cabinet and Countertop Manufacturing. To qualify as a small business under this NAICS code, the firm must be organized as for-profit, with fewer than 500 employees. A Wholesale Trade or Retail Trade business concern submitting a quote on a supply acquisition is categorized as a non-manufacturer and deemed small if it has 500 or fewer employees and meets the requirements of 13 CFR 121.406. The National Park Service (NPS) encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women-owned businesses.
On what basis will you select the successful quoter?
Quotes received by the Government will be evaluated using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. NPS will select the single quote that represents the best overall value to the government based on price, technical characteristics of the supplies, and past performance of the quoter; refer to FAR clause 52.212-2.
What type of contract will be issued?
NPS will issue a single firm-fixed-price purchase order.
System for Award Management (SAM) Registration Requirements The System for Award Management (SAM) is an official U.S. Government database of entities wishing to do business with the federal government. There is NO fee to register at this site. * E-mailed and faxed quotes must be ≤10 pieces of paper (≤20 sides if printed double-sided) and contain a signature. The quoter bears full responsibility for on-time delivery of the quote to the Contracting Officer; there will be no relief given for undeliverable e-mails or messages that aren't received in time.
When is my quote due?
Unless changed by amendment, your quote is due by the date and time specified in Block 8 of the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items. If the due date is extended, the new due date and time will be stated in the associated amendment.
