B.2 PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT

1. BACKGROUND

Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs (OPIA) is responsible for advising the office of the Secretary on media and public relations, as well as providing guidance to the agency. The office consists of media, government and tribal relations professionals who develop and produce messaging and material to tell the story of the Agency both internally and externally.

OPIA helps build and maintain public confidence in VA by positively reinforcing its commitment and readiness to serve America’s Veterans of all generations.
