About this file

This document contains a set of Questions and Answers related to a federal contract opportunity for a Whole Institution Water Softener System at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Jesup, Georgia. The contract requires the vendor to provide drawings and specifications outlining how they will meet the requirements of the attached Statement of Work. The contract has a 180-day period of performance after the notice to proceed is issued, and no bonds are required. The water softener system will be for the domestic water supply at FCI Jesup, and the pipe size is 12 inches in diameter. A site visit is scheduled for November 6th, and all questions must be emailed to the Contracting Officer. The system will be supplied by the city water and will not be used for irrigation. There are no wage determinations, as this is a supply and oversight contract only, and no background checks are required for the site visit.
