The contract opportunity is for a water softener system at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Jesup, Georgia. The system must meet the requirements outlined in the attached Statement of Work. Vendors must include drawings and/or specifications demonstrating how they will meet the needs. A site visit is scheduled for November 6th at 10:00 AM EST, but no questions will be answered on-site. All questions should be submitted by email to the Contracting Officer. The period of performance is 180 days after the notice to proceed is issued. No bonds are required, and the system will be for general use of the institution, not for irrigation. The water supply is from the city, with a 12-inch pipe and 50-70 PSI of pressure. The contractor is not responsible for tapping into the 12-inch main. Electrical is available on-site, and the government will provide a concrete pad and building/covering for the water softener system.
