About this file

This single source justification document from the Department of Veterans Affairs requests approval for a non-competitive contract award to procure compounded chemotherapy delivered in final form and ready for administration to Veterans. The justification cites an emergent need to continue providing chemotherapy from an outside source until the VA facility's permanent or temporary compounding areas are certified to supply it internally. The contract would be valued at $240,000. Approval is requested in accordance with FAR 13.106-1 for awards over the micro-purchase threshold but not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold.
