About this file

This document is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the upgrade of Avid Media Composer video editing workstations at the VHA Institute of Learning, Education, and Development (ILEAD) in St. Louis, Missouri.

The PWS specifies the purchase and installation of four new HP Z8 G5 Avid Media Composer edit workstations to replace existing units. The workstations must be configured and approved by Avid for use with the VA's Media Central system, and the VA will transfer the existing software licenses to the new hardware. The PWS includes detailed specifications for the required components, including CPUs, RAM, storage, video cards, and peripherals. The workstations are to be delivered and installed within 180 days of contract award. This is a firm fixed-price procurement, and the government anticipates a pre-award meeting prior to performance. The contractor must maintain confidentiality and obtain Letters of Authorization from Avid and any other Original Equipment Manufacturers for the required products.
