INFECTION CONTROL
DESCRIPTION
A. This section specifies the control of environmental infection control and risk assessment that the Contractor must consider for construction
& renovation projects in the medical facility. It includes
Precautionary management of, Inspections and Non invasive activities, small scale, short duration activities, that create minimal dust.
Major demolition and construction projects that generate a moderate to high levels of dust. Movement of materials and equipment, and resources that are encountered or generated by the Contractor. The
Contractor is obligated to consider the specified control measures with the costs included within the various contract items of work. An
Infection Control Risk Assessment Matrix of Precautions for construction and renovation for activities follows. Contractor shall request the COR provide the current form for this matrix so it may be more easily completed.
