About this file

This document is a Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) for the PBX IV- Telecommunications Equipment and Services Master Contract issued by the Maryland Department of Labor, Unemployment Insurance division. The PORFP seeks proposals for a Senior Business Process Consultant to document the agency's telecommunications processes and provide recommendations and/or solutions. The work is to be performed at 8 specified locations in Maryland and is estimated to require 1,560 hours over the period from January 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024. Proposals are due on October 31, 2023 by 2pm. The vendor must be able to provide 3 references for similar maintenance work on phone systems.

The PORFP specifies a 25% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) goal for Functional Areas II and III. Pricing is requested for the Senior Business Process Consultant labor category for normal and out-of-normal business hours. Award will be made to the most advantageous proposal based on a combination of technical merit and price, with no single factor given greater weight. The agency reserves the right to select any or all of the proposed items for award.
