About this file

This is an instructional document from OhioBuys regarding item list sorting in Orphan Well projects within the state of Ohio. The document specifically addresses a display issue where items in OhioBuys may appear alphabetically rather than in the intended order as shown in the Scope of Work Quantity Sheet. The file provides two examples showing the issue and its solution.

Example A shows the current alphabetical sorting issue, displaying items like Alternative Well Control Fluid, Approved Cement, and Conductor materials in alphabetical order. Example B demonstrates the solution, instructing users to click the up arrow in the CODE column to resort items to match the SOW quantity sheet order, with items properly sequenced from 001 through 007 including Mobilization, Clearing & Grubbing, Site Safety, Road Mats, Secondary Containment, Silt Fence, and No. 4 Stone with their respective quantities and units of measure.

Why doesn’t the Item list in OhioBuys match the Project Scope of Work Quanty Sheet?

Recent updates to OhioBuys may cause the ITEM list in Orphan Well projects to display alphabecally rather than the in the order they appear in the Scope of Work. See Example A below. Refer to Example B on the next page for how to update the sort order to match the SOW.

EXAMPLE A –

items sorng alphabecally

Example B – click the up arrow on the column labelled CODE to resort the items to match the
