Thanks Ayush, The two 260a transfer switches from the 9/7 submittal are good for phase 1. We don’t have any other concerns.

Good afternoon Dustin, Here’s the DB Teams response regarding the discrepancy in transfer switches:

“260a is the rating of the copper bussing inside of the ATS. The ATS’ provide no overcurrent protection. The breakers at the generator are sized correctly at 100a and 250a. The ATS’ are sized correctly per the Permit Set.”

The PR-01 & PR-02 set is the most updated set that we currently have.

Please let me know if this resolves the concerns or if you have additional questions.

Thanking you, Ayush

Thanks Ayush, Can OEG provide us with an updated copy of E6.00 and E6.01 that shows these changes? This will help us with future reviews also.

Thanks, Dustin Murray PE

Good Afternoon Dustin, Please see the response for the Engine generator and transfer switch comments. Please let us know if the below information satisfies your concern.

Good morning Ayush, I spoke with OEG to get some clarification on the comment. The KSS-AMVA-0200S and KSS-AMVA-0070S transfer switches referenced in the comment are from an old submittal during an earlier phase of the project and were not the final design. The transfer switches from 9/7 are what will be used for Phase 1. The Phase 2 transfer switch was not included in the 9/7 submittal.

Let me know if any additional information or clarification is needed.

Thank you, Ashley Ulberg | Field Engineer

Good Morning Ashley and Ines, For the Engine generator submiƩal, we received the following comment for the transfer switches from our consultants:

“The submittal shows the KSS-AMVA-0200S transfer switch starting on page 78. It also includes a KSS- AMVA-0070S transfer switch starting on page 85. These are 200 amp and 70 amp switches respectively.

The electrical drawings on E6.00 show two transfer switches, a 100 amp and a 250 amp, for phase 1. And E6.01 shows a 300 amp transfer switch for phase 2.

The previous 263600 submittal from 9/7 included two 260 amp transfer switches that we assumed were for phase 1. So overall we have seen 4 units submitted when we expected 3, and none of them appear to match what we expected based on the drawings.”

Could you please get a clarificaƟon for this comment?
