About this file

This is an optional unit pricing form for a grounds maintenance contract with the City of Florida's Parks and Recreation Department covering special events parks and other city-owned properties. The document outlines optional services and pricing structures that may be requested beyond the base maintenance contract, which includes turf mowing, landscape bed maintenance, and related grounds care at various city properties. The optional services are not part of the final award but serve as pricing mechanisms for additional maintenance tasks that the City may require during the contract period.

The optional pricing structure includes twelve categories of potential services with unit price submission requirements. These categories encompass mowing and cleanup services priced per 1/10 acre; landscape bed maintenance including weeding, pruning, and mulch installation priced per square foot or per plant; mulch application with cost-plus markup pricing; herbicide treatment for beds, turf, and fence perimeters; tree pruning differentiated by size; granular and liquid fertilizer application; sodding in four grass varieties; plant replacement with material costs plus labor; debris and trash removal by weight; additional litter pickup per cycle; and exceptional special maintenance tasks billed hourly for crew labor. The bidder must submit unit prices for each applicable service category to establish the rate structure for any optional work the City may authorize during contract performance.
