About this file

This is an options pricing schedule for a grounds maintenance contract with the City of Florida, supporting the Special Events Parks and Other City Owned Properties Grounds Maintenance bid opportunity. The contract encompasses turf mowing and maintenance services, as well as landscape bed maintenance across parks, playgrounds, and other city-owned properties. The bidder must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, and materials necessary to perform maintenance work in accordance with specifications established by the Parks and Recreation Department. The options pricing page will not be included in the final award but serves as a mechanism for calculating costs of additional maintenance tasks as requested by the city.

The options pricing schedule itemizes twelve categories of potential additional services with unit pricing requirements, including mowing and cleanup (per 1/10 acre), landscape bed maintenance (weeding, shrub pruning, mulch installation, and plant material per various measurements), herbicide application, tree pruning (by size category), granular and liquid fertilizer application, sodding (by grass type), plant replacement, debris removal (by weight), miscellaneous litter pickup, and exceptional special maintenance tasks charged on an hourly basis. All pricing submissions must identify specific unit costs or percentage markups where applicable, allowing the city flexibility to request and pay for additional services beyond the base contract scope based on actual field requirements and frequency of need.
