About this file

This is a simplified bid solicitation from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Bureau of Health Service requesting bids for the repair and service of optical equipment. The Department seeks service providers to maintain and repair optical equipment located at 20 sites throughout the State of Wisconsin. Bids must be submitted by 3:00 PM CST on April 25, 2019, and the selected contractor will be awarded a two-year contract term. Bidders must demonstrate at least two years of prior experience providing optical equipment services by submitting relevant references. No site visits or bidders' conference are mentioned in the solicitation.

Pricing is structured in three weighted components: labor costs for repair, cleaning, or moving equipment (60% of total cost); travel costs organized by four geographic zones (30% of total cost); and shipping and handling (10% of total cost). Bidders must provide hourly labor rates, zone-specific travel charges, shipping and handling fees, and a parts discount percentage from list price. The award will be made to the bidder submitting the lowest grand total cost across all bid line items. No set-asides, incumbent information, or specific funding sources are identified in the solicitation.
