About this file
This Scope of Services document details a contract opportunity for the Operation and Maintenance of a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Fueling Station, likely for a local government entity in Florida. The contract requires a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive preventative maintenance services for a CNG fueling facility, with weekly inspections and full system maintenance. The station is estimated to compress approximately 125,000 Diesel Gallon Equivalents (DGEs) per month, and the contractor must perform detailed inspections and maintenance on critical components including compressors, dryers, priority panels, gas storage, and fast fill systems.
The contractor must meet specific minimum qualifications, including service technicians with at least three years of direct experience in CNG facility maintenance. Key responsibilities include 24/7 emergency response within two hours, remote monitoring capabilities, weekly physical facility inspections, and comprehensive maintenance protocols. The contract covers routine preventative maintenance at manufacturer-recommended intervals, with additional major maintenance (4,000hr or 8,000hr service) to be billed separately at an agreed time and material rate. The contractor is also required to prepare a one-year look-ahead maintenance schedule to assist the city in budget planning, with all additional work requiring prior city approval.
