About this file

The document is an Exhibit detailing Automotive Paint and Body Repairs Bid Lines for the City of Tampa, involving the Tampa Police Department and Logistics & Asset Management Fleet Maintenance Division. The bid opportunity is structured across three vehicle divisions: Light Vehicles (Class 1 & 2, up to 10,000 lbs), Medium Vehicles (Class 3 through 6, up to 26,000 lbs), and Heavy Vehicles (Class 7 & 8, over 33,001 lbs). The city is seeking multiple vendors capable of providing comprehensive automotive repair services, with bidders required to submit pricing for shop labor rates, paint hourly rates, parts and materials markup, and shop supplies charges for each vehicle class.

The bid lines are designed to allow vendors to bid on specific vehicle classes they can service, with separate consideration for vendors unable to perform repairs across all vehicle sizes. Pricing will be evaluated individually for each division, and vendors are encouraged to bid on all divisions where they can provide service. The document requires vendors to include all incidental costs within the shop labor hourly rate, and all bids must be entered directly into the OpenGov platform, with bids submitted outside this system not being considered. The flexibility in the bid structure suggests the city aims to establish a comprehensive and adaptable automotive repair service contract that can accommodate various vehicle maintenance needs across different municipal departments.
